You can teach 1 Forte Direct student with a Basic membership or up to 5 students with a Pro membership.
With a Basic Membership
If you currently have more than one student and select a Forte Basic membership, the student who has been part of your Forte studio (Students list) for the longest amount of time will remain active and able to utilize the Forte in-lesson experience.
You will not have the ability to teach lessons for more than one student. You will still have the ability to invite new students to your studio, but you will be prevented from scheduling lessons with them, and they will not have access to the Forte teaching Studio for lessons with you.
With a Pro Membership
If you currently have more than five students and select a Forte Pro membership, the five students who have been part of your Forte studio (Students list) for the longest amount of time will remain active and able to utilize the Forte in-lesson experience.
You will not have the ability to teach lessons for more than five students. You will still have the ability to invite new students to your studio, but you will be prevented from scheduling lessons with them, and they will not have access to the Forte teaching Studio for lessons with you.Delete Inactive Students
To remove a student from your studio, navigate to the Students section of your Teaching Hub, click on the Menu icon next to the student's name (three vertical dots), and click on the Remove from Studio button next to their name.
Removing a student will sever the connection between your accounts, and students will no longer have access to any of your account information or materials.
Warning: Once a relationship has been severed, you cannot re-add the student to your account. If you are having technical issues with the student's account, please email help@fortelessons.com for assistance before removing the student from your studio.
Note: The student will still be able to access their Forte student account, as well as the Shared Notebook between you and the student. However, the Forte Chat between you and the student will be deleted.
Day Pass and Membership: Which Students Get Which Access?
Teachers who have a Basic or Pro membership and use the Day Pass for some students who only take occasional lessons on Forte can specify which Forte Direct students in their Students list should have access to the Forte teaching Studio via their membership and which Forte Direct student(s) should have access to the Forte teaching Studio via the Day Pass only.
Requests for student access status changes can be made quarterly. Once a teacher has placed a student access status change request, their next request can be placed after three months.
