Forte Supported Devices and Browsers, and Recommended Setup

Device, browser, microphone, and camera details to make sure you're set up for success on Forte.

Forte Supported Devices and Browsers:

Forte can be used on any laptop or desktop computer running Windows or Apple operating systems.

You must log in using the Chrome browser (v105 or later). If you do not have Google Chrome, you can download it for free here.

Forte is also currently supported on iPad. You must log in using the Safari browser. We only actively support the latest versions of Safari so make sure that your iPad is up to date.

Please note:

NoPhones

Forte currently cannot be used on mobile phones or mobile devices other than iPad, although we're working hard to add that functionality in the future.

Microphones & Cameras:

Forte does not require any specific microphone or webcam, but the use of higher-quality equipment will improve the student and teacher experience.

Consider using an external USB microphone and a high-definition webcam during your lessons. You can read more about external microphones in one of our blog posts here.

Headphones:

Headphones are recommended to get the most out of Forte Pure Audio.

We recommend avoiding using Bluetooth-connected devices, as this can add to latency and cause lag during your lesson.
