Teachers can cancel lessons, when necessary. Please note that teachers CANNOT cancel Trial Lessons!
1. In your Forte account, navigate to the This Week section of your Teaching Hub and select the Edit lesson button (it looks like a tiny calendar).
Or, find the Calendar icon at the top right of your Teaching Hub.
Once in your calendar, select the lesson you want to edit by clicking on it.
NOTE: Teachers cannot cancel Trial Lessons! Because students book teachers for Trial Lessons directly, teachers should teach Trial Lessons as booked or work with the student to find a new Trial Lesson date/time that works for both of them, and then RESCHEDULE the originally booked Trial Lesson.
2. Select Delete Lesson.
3. Confirm lesson deletion.
If the lesson you want to cancel is part of a recurring lesson block, you need to specify if you want to cancel only that individual lesson or the entire block of lessons.
Once the lesson is canceled, your student will automatically receive an email notifying them of the cancelation.
Caution: Keep in mind that canceling a lesson is permanent and cannot be undone.
