      When do I get paid for lessons I've taught?

      Forte has partnered with Stripe for student billing and teacher payment, which means you can receive funds faster and securely. 

      Your student is automatically charged for the lesson as soon as you finalize the lesson in the Teaching Hub, in the Unprocessed Lessons section.

      Teacher payouts occur within two business days of when the lesson was charged.

      Tip: To ensure timely and regular payouts, you should make sure you're closing out the lessons on your Billing tab regularly, ideally as soon as the lessons are completed. 

       

      To finalize a lesson:

      1. Log in to your Forte teacher account.
      2. Navigate to the Unprocessed Lessons section in the Teaching Hub.
      3. Set the attendance for the lesson. The attendance options are:
        1. Student attended
        2. No-Show
        3. Canceled (late)
        4. Canceled
        5. Teacher not available
      4. Adjust the fee, if necessary.
        1. Note: Fees for a Trial Lesson cannot be adjusted.
      5. Click "Finalize Lesson"

      Important: The lesson rate/fee you set represents how much you will be paid. Students will see a higher rate, which includes Forte's fee.
