Forte offers four membership plans for teachers: Free, Basic, Pro, and Elite
Forte Branches
First, let's learn about the two different usage branches on Forte: Forte Connect and Forte Direct.
- Forte Direct: Invite your existing students to take lessons with you on Forte. Students only pay your lesson rate.
- Forte Connect: Forte drives prospective students to your public profile and connects you with new students. Forte adds a fee to your lesson rate, paid for by the student.
Forte Memberships
Next, let's move on to Forte teacher memberships and learn how the Forte usage branches are supported by the memberships.
Teachers on Forte are required to have one of four memberships: Free, Basic, Pro, or Elite.
The Free teacher membership allows teachers to have their instrument profile visible on Forte Connect so that prospective students can see their profile and then book them for Trial Lessons. The Free membership does not include access to the Forte teaching Studio with any Forte Direct students.
All other paid memberships (Basic, Pro, and Elite) support Forte Direct teaching relationships allowing teachers to invite students to their Forte student and to meet with their invited Forte Direct students in the Forte teaching Studio, as follows:
- Elite membership: access with an unlimited number of Forte Direct students.
- Pro membership: access to the Forte teaching Studio with 5 total Forte Direct students
- Basic membership: access to the Forte teaching Studio with 1 Forte Direct student.
Teachers always have access to the Forte teaching Studio with their Forte Connect students. ***

- An active Forte Connect Teacher is someone who teaches at least one Forte Connect lesson (including Trial Lessons) within a one month period of time.
- When a student books a Trial Lesson with you, you’ll receive account credit for a complimentary Pro membership. Activate your complimentary Pro membership at any time; it's valid for one month from the date of Pro membership activation.
- Continue to teach at least one Forte Connect Trial Lesson or ongoing lesson with a Forte Connect student every month, and your complimentary Pro membership will continue perpetually.
